Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, has denied having an affair with Nicole Shanahan, the wife of Sergey Brin, co-founder of Google.
Mr Musk's remarks came after the Wall Street Journal reported that his friendship with Mr Brin had come to an end due to the alleged affair.
Mr Musk called the report "total bs" in response to a link to the story posted on Twitter.
Mr Musk went on to say that he and Mr Brin are still friends and that they were "at a party together last night!"
Elon Musk's daughter has severed ties with her father.
Elon Musk has denied allegations of sexual misconduct.
According to reports, Musk became the father of twins last year.
According to people familiar with the situation, Mr Musk had a brief affair with Ms Shanahan late last year, according to the Wall Street Journal.
This prompted Mr Brin to file for divorce earlier this year, effectively ending the two high-profile technology billionaires' long friendship, according to the paper.
Mr Brin and his wife were separated but still living together at the time of the alleged affair in December, according to a person close to Ms Shanahan, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Mr Musk said in a separate tweet, "WSJ [Wall Street Journal] has run so many bs hit pieces on me and Tesla that I've lost count."
Despite having a prenuptial agreement, Mr Brin and Ms Shanahan are currently negotiating a divorce settlement that could be worth up to $1 billion (£830 million), according to the paper.
According to her LinkedIn profile, Ms Shanahan is a California-based attorney and the founder of the legal technology company ClearAccessIP as well as the Bia-Echo Foundation.
The Bia-Echo Foundation is a charitable organization dedicated to "reproductive longevity and equality, criminal justice reform, and a healthy and livable planet."
Mr Musk, the CEO of rocket company SpaceX, is well known for how he runs his many companies, but he has also sparked media interest in his personal life.
In tweets earlier this month, he appeared to confirm reports that he and Shivon Zilis, an executive at his technology company Neuralink, were expecting twins in late 2021.
It came just weeks after it was revealed that his daughter Vivian had taken steps to distance herself from him, declaring her desire to "never be related to my biological father in any way, shape, or form."
Mr Musk is currently embroiled in a legal battle over his abandoned $44 billion bid for Twitter.
The social media platform sued him earlier this month after he announced his withdrawal from the proposed takeover of the company.
According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Mr Musk is the world's richest person, with an estimated fortune of more than $240 billion.
According to the same index, Mr Brin is worth around $95 billion, ranking him eighth in the world.
Ms Shanahan, Mr Brin, and Google did not respond immediately to requests for comment from the BBC.
